NASCAR is "stock cars" stock cars means = a standard on normal passenger car modified to race, so they modify it and race it. and the race on "D- shape ovals" "bull rings" about 2 road courses and different types of ovals with various bankings.

I was at this race sitting at the entrance to Turn 1. I called that wreck about three laps before but never thought Blaney would get caught up in it. Prior to that wreck, Newman and Menard were bumpin and bangin through that corner at least twice a lap.
